Effective Wednesday, May 17, 2023:

The online application portal for potential utility assistance is accepted Monday, Wednesday & Friday between 9am – 11am.

Currently, we are only able to review applications from households who have been disconnected from their utility service (have no power in their home).

  • We can review your utility bill in “real time”.
  • If you apply and your power is NOT disconnected, you will receive no further response from the Fuel Fund.
  • Please allow 3-5 business days for your application to be processed.
  • For help with your utility bill, please contact your local State energy assistance office at 1-800-332-6347 or call United Way Helpline for additional resources by dialing 2-1-1.
  • The Fuel Fund is not affiliated with the Office of Home Energy Programs (OHEP); a state agency.

Note: We are a nonprofit organization that receives no funding from the Federal, State, County and/or City level(s). Funding is provided through the generosity of donors. Our assistance model can/may change at any time based on funding.
