The Fuel Fund of Maryland depends on the generosity of many individuals, companies, foundations, organizations and religious institutions to provide financial and educational assistance and resources to more than 7,200 central Maryland households who are struggling with their utility bills in times of crisis. Your gift truly creates a brighter (and stronger) community.
We offer many options for our donors. But, you are not limited to these options. If you would like to suggest new donation options for our organization, please contact email@example.com.
BGE Online / Dollar Donation Fund
Did you know that you can contribute to the Fuel Fund by donating through BGE?
Last year, more than 10,000 Marylanders received help from BGE donations to the Fuel Fund. Enroll in the Dollar Donation Fund and BGE will add a donation of your choice to your bill every month.
Don’t care to enroll in this program? BGE has another option for you!
You can also add an extra amount to your BGE online bill before processing the payment.
Coordinate a Third-Party Fundraiser to raise both funds and awareness with your friends, family, neighbors or co-workers. Happy Hour, car wash, casual Friday and a bake sale are just a few ideas!
